Toru Yano has defeated IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito, former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White, and now IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley. Well, sort of.

The match-up started with Yano spraying water in Moxley’s face. As you can imagine, the IWGP United States Champion wasn't thrilled about it. Yano tried to beg for Moxley’s forgiveness, but the former WWE star refused to fall for Yano’s antics again and went on the attack.

Moxley sends Yano outside the ring and tosses the former IWGP Tag Team Champion into the barricade. Yano is able to make a comeback until Moxley grabs his tape and then tapes him to the barricade. The CHAOS member is able to get back inside the ring before the 20-count and some comedy moments between Moxley and Yano take place, such as both men taking off the turnbuckle pads and swinging them at each other.

A short time later, the match-up would wind up back outside; however, Yano would tape together Moxley and Umino. Unfortunately, The IWGP US Champion would not make it back inside the ring before the 20-count.

Toru Yano’s G1 Climax score is now 3-3 (6 points), whereas Jon Moxley’s record now stands at 5-1 (10 points).
