Former multi-time Women’s Champion Melina has arrived in NWA!

The former WWE superstar made her presence known during last night’s episode, as the 40-year-old helped Marti Belle and Thunder Rosa defeat NWA Women’s Champion Allysin Kay and Ashley Vox.

Despite leaving WWE in 2011, the former Women’s Champion has remained active on the independent scene. She managed to capture the MCW Women's Championship during her time on the indie circuit. Melina did manage to show up on Lucha Underground, though her stint with the promotion didn’t last long.

Melina did make a return to the WWE at the RAW Reunion in July, helping Candice Michelle win the 24/7 Championship from Kelly Kelly. Her first stint with the WWE lasted from 2004-2011. Melina won the women’s title five times throughout her lengthy run.
