Another championship match has been added to the card for next month's NXT TakeOver 31 event, as Isaiah "Swerve" Scott will get another opportunity to defeat Santos Escobar to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.

Scott actually holds two pinfall victories over the leader of Legado del Fantasma (he pinned him during the NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament and then again in a Six-Man Street Fight), but the first time he challenged for the title, Escobar came out on top after headbutting Isaiah while wearing what appeared to be a loaded lucha mask.

Swerve has definitely been Escobar's most dauntless opponent since he won the title, though, so if anyone can end his reign as champion it's the talented up-and-coming Superstar.

We'll hear from both the champion and his challenger tonight during NXT, so be sure to tune in. NXT TakeOver 31 is set for Sunday, Oct. 4, and you can check out the updated card below.
