Finn Balor Will Go One-On-One With The Velveteen Dream Next Wednesday On NXT

Finn Balor vs. The Velveteen Dream has been announced for next week's episode of NXT.

The Dream was scheduled for a segment with Undisputed ERA leader Adam Cole, but the NXT Champion sent a video message to the Sartorial Superstar informing him that he couldn't be bothered showing up, and had decided to stay home playing video games. Dream then cut a promo of his own, promising that he would see Cole soon, while referring to him as "maybe the greatest NXT Champion of all time."

Finn Balor, who had defeated Fabian Aichner in the opening match, took exception to to those words, and told Dream he should be careful not to wind up on a date with The Prince. Velveteen told Finn he could pick him up at 8PM next Wednesday night.

This should be a great match, but it is interesting that they seem to be pausing both Balor's feud with Imperium and Dream's feud with Undisputed ERA, as there are still members of each faction they could face before getting to the final bosses, as it were.

Perhaps we'll see WALTER and Cole get involved in this match? Tune in next Wednesday to find out.
