Ricky Starks is finally in NXT!

The former AEW star is coming out of a solid run from his former employer despite his relationship breaking down with Tony Khan in the last year or so. Starks may only be a former AEW World Tag Team Champion (he’s also technically a former FTW Champion, but AEW never officially counted that as a title), but he’s shown on numerous occasions that he could be a big star if given the chance to do so.

Starks made his shocking debut last Tuesday and the 34-year-old confirmed that he will officially sign his NXT contract tonight. Will this be a standard contract signing? And will we find out Starks’ first NXT feud? Hell, will Ricky Starks be Ricky Starks by the end of tonight?

Stephanie Vaquer is the new NXT North American Women’s Champion. But winning the title is only half the battle. Vaquer’s next challenger will be determined tonight as Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Karmen Petrovic will fight in a triple threat match to become the number one contender. Jordan knows what it takes to be a champion.

Since the first-ever NXT North American Champion dropped her belt, she’s been desperately trying to get it back and has crossed paths with Vaquer on a couple of occasions. But so has Jaida Parker. Though in Parker’s case, she failed to beat Vaquer in a one-on-one match. However, the NXT star has tremendously improved since their last encounter in November. Her and Karmen Petrovic may have not been champions, but these two ladies are ready to level up within the developmental brand.

Also, Shawn Spears will compete for the first time since revealing his new faction last week. Stacks is looking to get revenge on the WWE veteran following their heinous attack on the NXT North American Champion. Will Spears put Stacks in his place? Or will Stacks get the justice Tony D’Angelo deserves?

Check out the confirmed line-up for tonight’s NXT:

  • Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Karmen Petrovic in a Triple Threat for a shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship
  • Stacks vs. Shawn Spears
  • Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs. Sol Ruca and Zaria
