It appears that NXT star Kacy Catanzaro is done with WWE and professional wrestling in general.

According to squared circle sirens, the former American Ninja Warrior contestant has reportedly handed in her notice. The decision apparently stems from an ongoing back injury that’s she’s been dealing with. Catanzaro made her television debut on the developmental brand back in April 2018, and she also competed in the second annual Mae Young Classic.

The 29-year-old defeated Reina Gonzalez in the first round; however, she would come up short against Rhea Ripley in the second round. Catanzaro made her main roster debut back at the Royal Rumble, pulling off impressive spots throughout the match that showcased her athletic ability.

There’s no word on what the future holds for Catanzaro following her departure.
