Two weeks ago, Tegan Nox was the last woman standing in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match to determine the next challenger for Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship, and it's now been announced that The Welsh Wonder will get her shot at the title during next Wednesday's episode of NXT.

Nox has had to battle her way back from two near career-ending injuries, but during a video package she made it very clear that she doesn't want to be seen as a victim or an underdog, and intends to prove it by defeating Shirai for the title.

The Genius of The Sky recognizes Tegan's hard work and acknowledged that they are quite similar in many ways, but promises that her dream of holding the NXT Women's Championship will end next week.

Does Nox have a shot here? Highly unlikely. The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard has been pegged as a top contender and may well hold the title some day, but there's no way Shirai's reign will be cut so short. Should be a great match one way or the other, though.
