The First Ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match Will Determine Finn Balor's NXT TAKEOVER Challenger

Finn Balor will defend the NXT Championship at TakeOver next month, and his challenger will be determined in the first ever Gauntlet Eliminator match next Wednesday.

William Regal made the announcement during last night's episode, and while we still don't know which Superstars will do battle for the opportunity to become the new No. 1 contender, it has been confirmed that there will be five competitors.

There rules are as follows:

Two men will start in the ring

Every four minutes, another competitor will enter

The only way to be eliminated is via pinfall or submission

The last man standing will be named the #1 contender

This doesn't sound a whole lot different to an Elimination Chamber match without the chambers, but it should make for an exciting bout regardless.

Who do you guys think the 5 competitors will be? Let us know in the comments.
