As previously reported, the tension between Killer Kross and Impact officials has yet to die down, as it’s been noticeable that the Impact talent hasn’t been used since Slammiversary in July. The reasoning behind the company not using Kross stems from him refusing to blade in his first blood match against Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary.
WrestleZone and
Fightful were able to confirm the rumor.
It now appears that Impact is trying to keep Kross off the AAA show in New York, as Impact and AAA have joined forces for the big event on September 15 and even though Kross is a regular for the lucha libre promotion, Impact wants him off the event in fear that he is preparing to sue the company.
Fightful’s report says that Kross has been speaking to Impact via an attorney in recent weeks and he believes Impact is in breach of contract. Kross reportedly has several months left on his deal and Impact has the option to roll the contract over, though it is unknown for how long.
