Hulk Hogan was once one of the biggest stars in the world, regardless of whether you watched professional wrestling each week or not.
However, the WWE Hall of Famer found himself back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons a couple of years ago and briefly parted ways with the sports entertainment giant. He's returned to the fold since then, though, and nearly stepped back into the ring at WrestleMania!
Revealing he got a call from Shane McMahon "about three months before WrestleMania" about potentially competing at the Show of Shows this year, Hogan admitted he would have needed a little more time to prepare. However, he's open to celebrating the 40th anniversary of his win over The Iron Sheik at WrestleMania 40.
Starting by saying that "anything is possible," Hogan added: "The reason I went back to wrestle The Rock [in 2002] was to get in the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Because me as a bad guy, I could have torn the place down with him. If I had one guy to get in there [with] it would be him."
The Hulkster also went on to share his thoughts on Roman Reigns.
After praising the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Hogan revealed his belief that had he been able to step into the ring with the Head of the Table during his prime, something special could have followed.
"At the end of the day, if I was in my prime and I walked in with him, I could draw some major money with him," he said. "Yeah, I could draw some serious money with them. If I was 40 years old, I could go back to Roman Reigns in my prime. I could draw some major money with him. That would be something."
It really would, and it's a shame we won't get to see it! You can hear more from Hogan by watching the full interview below.
