It was first reported by Dave Meltzer on Monday that Finn Balor vs. Brock Lesnar has reportedly been nixed. The reasoning, is due to Vince not believing that the fomer NXT champion 'is over enough' despite the fact that since his return, creative has done no favors to Balor in terms of getting over. In fact, Meltzer speculates that McMahon may have made up his mind earlier due to his treatment in the men's elimination match.

It seems like Balor has responded to reports of him not being over on his twitter account. The former bullet club leader posted a picture of him wrestling Roman Reigns with a caption of fOreVER. At the moment, discussions seem to indicate that Braun might face Brock Lesnar again. However, nothing is concrete and officials are still working out ideal opponents.
