Seth Rollins Snaps On RAW And "Blinds" Rey Mysterio With The Corner Of The Steel Steps

Well, it looks like Seth Rollins is still very much a heel. Last night on Raw, The Monday Night Messiah snapped and forced Rey Mysterio's eye into the corner of the steel ring-steps. Nasty business...

Seth Rollins celebrated the announcement that he's going to be a father by... blinding a co-worker.

We thought The Monday Night Messiah might be set to turn face again after accepting Drew McIntyre's hand at Money in the Bank on Sunday, but that definitely doesn't appear to be the case.

A dazed-looking Rollins teamed with Murphy to take on Alesiter Black and Rey Mysterio last night, and spent the majority of the match standing in his corner in a trance-like state. At one point Rey hit him with an albow, and Seth snapped out of it, grabbed his opponent and forced his eye into the corner of the steel steps.

After the match, Mysterio was being attended to backstage with Black by his side when Rollins joined them, telling Rey he was sorry and that he din't "know what happened out there."

Where is this going? That's anyone's guess... but it's getting old seeing a legend like Rey Mysterio used as WWE's fall guy any time someone needs to be injured or heinously attacked to set something up. That said, this was a pretty effective spot, so hopefully there is some kind of complete angle mapped out.
