Since the WWE Draft, there have been more PPVs than ever before with 15 in 2016 and a total of 16 this year. WWE will be scaling back a little in 2018 as it's been revealed that we'll be getting a total of 14. There's nothing too shocking here but the biggest reveal comes with the news that Money in the Bank will be the fifth PPV to feature Superstars from RAW and SmackDown Live.
The others are, of course, the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. Will the two brands compete for a briefcase or will there be twice as many ladder matches? The latter option would be better but with the women also wrestling for a briefcase these days, four ladder matches on one show could be a little too much so we'll just have to wait and see for now.
Royal Rumble (Raw and SD), Philadelphia, PA – January 28
Elimination Chamber (Raw), Las Vegas, NV – February 25
Fastlane (SD), Columbus, OH – March 11
WrestleMania 34 (Raw and SD), New Orleans, LA – April 8
Backlash (Raw), Newark, NJ – May 6
Payback (SD), Baltimore, MD – May 27
Money In The Bank (Raw and SD), Chicago, IL – June 17
Battleground (Raw), Pittsburgh, PA – July 15
SummerSlam (Raw and SD), Brooklyn, NY – August 19
Extreme Rules (Raw), San Antonio, TX – September 16
Hell In A Cell (SD), Nashville, TN – September 30
WWE TLC (Raw), Boston, MA – October 21
Survivor Series (Raw and SD), Los Angeles, CA – November 18
Clash Of Champions (SD), San Jose, CA – December 16
As you can see, RAW is getting five brand exclusive PPVs, while SmackDown Live will only have four. As a result, that show has to wait four months between Payback and Hell in a Cell to get its own show! The only months with two PPV are May and September and Great Balls of Fire has thankfully been ditched. Oh, and they all take place in the UK so there goes that UK PPV we've heard about!
