Hiromu Takahashi Returns At POWER STRUGGLE To Challenge Will Ospreay For The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title

Hiromu Takahashi has been out of action recovering from a very serious injury, but the eccentric Los Ingobernables de Japon member made his return this weekend at Power Struggle to challenge Will Ospreay.

We weren't sure we'd ever see Hiromu Takahashi wrestle again after he broke his neck taking a dragon driver from Dragon Lee during the G1 Special, but the mega-popular star made his return at Power Struggle after 16 months on the shelf.

After Will Ospreay successfully defended his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship against BUSHI, the Areial Assassin got on the mic and ran down the list of people he'd defeated to hold on to the gold, before asking who was left to challenge him. Then, a ticking time-bomb video counted down, and it was obvious from the animated cat dolls lighting the fuse that Takahashi was about to answer his old friend.

Hiromu made his way to the ring and bumped around for a bit (if you're unfamiliar with his work, this is one very odd dude) before officially challenging Osprfeay for the title. That match will take place at Wrestle Kingdom 14 on January 5.
