Independent Wrestler Allegedly Stabs Referee Multiple Times In The Head During Match - NSFW VIDEO

Things often go off the rails at independent wrestling shows, and that was definitely the case when Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson allegedly stabbing a referee in the head multiple times during a match...

During a recent independent wrestling show, Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson squared off with former WWE Superstar Carly Colon (a.k.a. Carlito). However, things took a turn for the worst when Nicholson allegedly stabbed referee Lando Deltoro multiple times in the head with a spike.

This was a moment reportedly off-script, and Deltoro was left with a torn artery in his head. A video of what happened can be seen below, along with photos of the aftermath and a page that's been set up to pay for the referee's medical bills. Another referee has since said on Reddit that he was told by Hannibal to "kayfabe the cops" in order to "protect the business."

It's unclear what, if any, fallout there will be from this. It's possible the whole thing is a work in order to drum up some publicity, but if so, it's incredibly dangerous and reckless and not pro wrestling.
