When Jon Moxley promised that this would be a violent match, he definitely wasn’t lying.

For nearly 40 minutes, the two men worked a death match style contest that featured dangerous weapons such as a barbed wire baseball bat, a barbed wire boom, a board with mouse traps, and shards of glass.

Both men took turns brutalizing each other throughout the match, with Omega really beating down Moxley with the barbed wire bat at certain points and the former WWE superstar returning the favor with weapons such as a steel chain.

The fight didn’t simply stay in the ring, as Moxley and Omega battled throughout the arena, and the result saw the former WWE Champion suplex Omega onto a bed of barbed wire. Moments later, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion performed a V-Trigger that sent both men crashing through a plexiglass sign.

Once the men returned to the ring, Moxley connected with Paradigm Shift for a strong near fall. The AEW star then removed the canvas and padding to reveal the wooden boards. Omega would make a brief comeback of his own; however, the Elite member ended up missing a Phoenix Splash. Moxley then connected with the Paradigm Shift onto the wooden boards for the three count.
