Great news for both Lucha Underground and the fans, as the company has announced on twitter that their will be a fourth season! Through a promotional video featuring Johnny Mundo (current Impact Wrestlng star Johnny Impact) details events from his past seasons and what's to come for him in the fourth season. There are no details in regards to how many episodes the fourth season will hold or the budgetary value for the season.

While Johnny Mundo seems set to return to the company, there's no word as of yet on who else will back for the season. A good portion of wrestlers from Lucha Underground have since then departed from the company, with some in Impact Wrestling as we speak. There's no official date for the return.

Nevertheless, this is a great time to rejoice in that Lucha Underground is a truly unique and a fun alternate to the WWE. While season one remains there best, hopefully all this time has allowed the writers to truly capture the magic they had in that first season. The third season of Lucha Underground was able to bounce a bit after their misfire of a second season. Looking forward to what's in store for Lucha Underground next season!
