When Cody Rhodes was talking about Shawn Spears (known as Tye Dillinger in WWE) being signed to All Elite Wrestling, he described him as a "good hand." No one really thought much of that at the time but you can see how it could be interpreted not as an insult necessarily but a somewhat degrading way of describing a wrestler.

Well, it was clearly said with the future in mind as a Tweet from Spears appears to confirm that this is why he chose to attack Cody at Fyter Fest on Saturday.

Everyone is talking about Spears' heel turn, especially as it involved Cody being busted open after a nasty chair shot to the head. Clearly, the rivalry between these two is going to see Spears trying to show his former friend that he's more than just a "good hand."
