Several weeks ago, at Over The Top’s WrestleRama 3 event, David Starr stomped on the WWE United Kingdom Championship during his match against WALTER after calling the NXT UK star a sellout.

It appears that WWE officials were unaware of the moment, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that management did not approve of Starr stomping on the title and are upset about the incident.

The report states that nobody other than WALTER and Starr knew about it, as both pulled the stunt because they knew it would get a huge reaction and shock people. Numerous wrestlers on the WWE side view the moment as disrespectful, with Pete Dunne making his feelings clear moments after the segment took place:

There’s no word on whether WALTER has heat with WWE officials backstage at the moment.
