The ROH Pure Championship tournament has just finished their latest first-round matches.
Last week, the popular independent promotion made their return with two top notch matches that saw former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal beat Dalton Castle and Jonathan Gresham get the win over Wheeler Yuta. The tournament has now been condensed down to 12 competitors such as Josh Woods, Silas Young, Kenny King, and PJ Black.
This past week, the next pair of tournament matches saw longtime ROH stars Matt Sydal and Delirious fight in the main event. Also, New Japan Pro-Wrestling talents David Finlay and Rocky Romero collided for an opportunity to become the next Pure Champion:

David Finlay defeated Rocky Romero in 13:02 to advance to the second-round of the Pure Title Tournament.
Matt Sydal defeated Delirious in 9:57 to advance to the second-round of the Pure Title Tournament.
