It's been confirmed today that former NXT Superstar and RAW callup Dijak has left WWE. Many of you will recall that he was originally brought to the main roster as T-Bar in the disastrous Retribution faction, though the setback was one he managed to find his way back from.
Returning to NXT, Dijak quickly turned things around and was quietly called back up to RAW during this year's WWE Draft.
Fans were excited to see him get a second chance, but it never came. Now, Dijak has taken to X to confirm that WWE opted not to renew his contract despite tals being ongoing until fairly recently.
"WWE never negotiated with me," he said in a lengthy statement. "We attempted to negotiate and they stonewalled us. They never made me a single offer, then they informed me they would not renew my contract at the eleventh hour."
Today is Dijak's last day under contract and he's presumably not under any sort of non-compete as GCW's Brett Lauderdale has already offered him the chance to compete at a show taking place this Saturday.
Since the news broke, Fightful Select has chimed in to reveal that Dijak was informed that the company would not be renewing his contract shortly after a recent WWE Speed match he had with The New Day's Xavier Woods.
The site has also spoken to the former WWE Superstar and it sounds like he's under the belief it was WWE's plan to let his contract expire for some time.
Other sources within the company say Dijak was well-liked by company officials; while he did have some minor creative differences with Shawn Michaels, the WWE Hall of Famer was supposedly a strong supporter of his and welcomed him back to NXT when he was repackaged.
Dijak has also shared some comments about the response to his WWE departure which you can see below.
