Its been rumored for weeks but now it's official, James Storm WILL be leaving Impact Wrestling.

Storm's contract actually expires sometime in January, but with the company not running any dates before then this taping will be his final one. According to various sources, it's believed that Impact wouldn't be able to offer Storm the money he's making now, thus the reasoning why he won't be resigning.

The Cowboy has been a staple of Impact Wrestling since 2002; he did make a brief appearance in NXT back in 2010, however. Storm is a former TNA World Tag Team Champion with the likes of Bobby Roode (Beer Money) and his former America's Most Wanted partner, Chris Harris. He also won the TNA World Heavyweight title back in 2011, but unfortunately his title reign was short lived due to a heel turn from Bobby Roode. Storm's an excellent promo and wrestler and I hope the door is still open for him to return to NXT. If not, then he would work well with the likes of New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor.
