AEW President Tony Khan Takes A Shot At WWE Following Vince McMahon's Shocking Return To The Company

AEW President Tony Khan can't seem to help himself when it comes to firing shots at WWE on social media, but we have to give him credit for these comments aimed at the company following Vince McMahon's return!

If you thought 2022 was a crazy year for wrestling news, 2023 has already proven that we haven't seen anything yet!

After his forced retirement amid various sexual misconduct allegations last summer, we thought Vince McMahon's time as WWE Chairman had reached its end. However, as the company's majority shareholder, he's been able to force his way back into WWE to start prepping the sports entertainment business for a sale.

For years, fans have wondered whether Vince would offload WWE before his time on this planet ended, and while this may ultimately prove to be good news for shareholders, we have no idea what it means for the company in the long run.

With Triple H in charge of creative, RAW, SmackDown, and NXT have improved greatly, and The Game has been able to bring back a long list of Superstars who were released or mistreated under his father-in-law's watch. While Vince has suggested he won't take charge of creative again, there's understandably a lot of uncertainty and concerns among talent right now.

Never missing an opportunity to take a shot at WWE, AEW President Tony Khan has poked fun at the situation on social media by saying, "Everyone at work is being so nice to me these past 24 hours! I wonder why..."

This is obviously a reference to the fact that anyone who had been hoping or planning to leave AEW for WWE would rather not if it means being booked by Vince so, yeah, his employees probably are being a little nicer than usual!

How do you guys feel about Vince McMahon once again taking charge of WWE?
