We finally have a better understanding of what's going on with Brandi Rhodes and Awesome Kong's strange new hair fetish.

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, the duo made their way to the ring to confront Kris Statlander after she picked up a huge win over Hakaru Shida. Brandi offered Kris the chance to "pledge" herself to the Nightmare Collective, but before she could respond a fan from the crowd asked if she could join, and Rhodes and Kong invited her up on the apron so they could cut her ponytail off and add it to their collection.

This "fan" was actually independent wrestler Melanie Cruise, and a photo shared to Twitter after the show revealed that her head has now been shaved.

We still don't know exactly what the story is with this new faction (it does seem very similar to what The Dark Order are doing), but consider us intrigued.
