EVOLVE recently uploaded a video looking back at the promotion in 2018 and then looks ahead on what’s to come in 2019.

New EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory spoke about his future with the promotion. After claiming that no one will take the title away from him, Theory then challenged multi-time world champion John Cena:

"How about a question that's on everyone's mind: Who's going to challenge me for the Evolve Championship in 2019? Nobody," Theory stated. "And how long am I going to have this title? Until the day I walk into TakeOver. John Cena, I heard you're trying to pass the torch. Well, you know how to get in contact with me."

If you don’t know much about the indie star, Theory made his debut in professional wrestling back in 2016 and has competed under the banner of Progress Wrestling, World Wrestling Network, and of course, EVOLVE. Theory recently won the EVOLVE Championship back at 117 in a triple threat match against Fabian Aichner and Roderick Strong.
