In the main event of the evening, Jacob Fatu overcame the legendary LA Park in a violent No Disqualification match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

As expected, this wasn’t simply a match, it was a fight between the two top athletes in the MLW locker room; It didn’t take long for both men to bleed in the match-up, with LA Park and the MLW World Heavyweight Champion fighting throughout the arena in a wild match.

The 53-year-old put up a strong fight and came one second away from winning the title on various occasions. The ending of the contest had a hectic sequence of events, as CONTRA UNIT member, Samael, entered the ring and threw a fireball at the referee to stop the three count.

Salina de la Renta intervened on LA Park’s behalf; however, Park would accidentally spear his manager through a table in the corner. Fatu took advantage of the distraction and superkicked Park, performed an elevated Samoan Drop, and then a top rope moonsault. Fatu would get the three count after the devastating combination.
