Former Knockouts Champion Su Yung will remain with Impact Wrestling for the foreseeable future.
Back in March, Mike Johnson of PWInsider revealed the news that the 30-year-old was a free agent, with Yung herself confirming on social media that she was free to explore different avenues in professional wrestling. Well, Yung isn’t going anywhere else as the former Impact Knockouts Champion has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion, with both Mike Johnson and Impact Wrestling confirming the news:
Yung last made her appearance for Impact back on the March 25 episode where she fought Havok in the final Undead Realm match. Both women were able to settle their differences thanks to Rosemary; however, the former Impact Knockouts Champion hasn’t been seen since then.
There’s no word on when Young will make her return to the promotion; however, with the recent additions of Kimber Lee, Kylie Rae, and Nevaeh, the Impact veteran has fresh opponents in the company’s growing Knockouts division.
The Washington native has been with the promotion since 2018 and quickly won the prestigious belt from Allie in a Last Rites match on Impact. However, after several title defenses, Yung dropped the belt a couple of months later to Tessa Blanchard. Until now, she’s been embroiled in the Undead Realm with Rosemary, Havok, and James Mitchell.
