Rumor Has It That Rey Mysterio Could Be About To Make His Debut In IMPACT WRESTLING

There have been rumours since last summer that former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio might make his debut in Impact Wrestling and now Dave Meltzer has seemingly confirmed that's the case. It's said that talks between the two sides have been ongoing for a while now and it's thought that the company would like the fan-favourite wrestler to sign in time for the tapings in Orlando this week.

Last month, Mysterio made a point of saying how happy he is being an independent contractor but Impact Wrestling is a much lighter schedule than WWE so this could suit him down to the ground.

As per usual, it's going to be a case of waiting and seeing but it would definitely be interesting seeing Mysterio show up here (at this stage, though, it's hard to imagine it helping much in terms of ratings). Right now, there's not really a place for the high flyer in WWE so Impact wouldn't be a bad move for him by any means. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
