Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock head into their Slammiversay title match with some momentum.
In the main event, the former Impact World Champion fought Josh Alexander and Callihan got the better of him in the early goings of the match-up. A distraction from Ethan Page helped Alexander gain control of the contest.
Alexander beat down Callihan for a bit and even used an ankle lock, which is the signature move of Ken Shamrock. Callihan would end up making his comeback and almost got the win after a devastating piledriver onto the apron. Page would stop the count by taking out the referee.
Tired of Page’s BS, Shamrock ran out and put him in an Ankle lock. Inside the ring, Callihan would connect with a piledriver for the three count. Following the bout, Callihan and Shamrock still teased some tension between one another. While the duo have some solid momentum going into the Impact World Tag Team title match at Slammiversary, could their past issues cost them the belts on July 18th?
