Tasha Steelz is a new member of the knockouts roster!
The 32-year-old officially made her debut with Impact last night by taking on Kylie Rae. Steelz showcased her tremendous athletic ability against Rae, though the New Jersey native would ultimately come up short in the end.
Steelz has previously competed under the Ring of Honor banner and got an opportunity at the Women of Honor World Championship at the Summer Supercard of Honor event. Steelz gave a valiant effort, but she lost to then champion Kelly Klein.
However, Steelz is arguably one of the best female talents on the independent scene as she’s competed in numerous promotions such as NWA, Prime Time Pro Wrestling, Chaotic Wrestling, and House of Glory. Steelz is a former CW Women's Champion, IWF Women's Champion, and BCP ICONS Champion.
During an interview on the Impact Wrestling website, Steelz expresses her gratitude towards finally joining the knockouts division:
“I feel great signing with Impact,” she said. “I have been working extremely hard for this moment and, in my mind, I’m saying, ‘It’s about damn time!’ I’ve been watching Impact Wrestling for a long time, following everything Impact has been doing over the years and the amazing talent (on the roster). I feel I can bring a different flavor to the Knockouts Division.”
The knockouts division continues to grow with Kimber Lee, Nevaeh, and Kylie Rae recently signing with Impact Wrestling.
