Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion could be cancelled after all.
Thus far, the official news has yet to be announced on the company’s website; however, AXS.com currently has the April 19th pay-per-view labeled as cancelled on their website. Only two matches have been confirmed for the show thus far; Ken Shamrock vs. Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard vs. Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards for the Impact World Championship.
The past few weeks have been rough for Impact and the entire professional wrestling industry as a whole due to the coronavirus. The promotion was also forced to cancel their Lockdown and TNA: There’s No Place Like Home events as well. Rebellion is set to take place in New York City at Terminal 5.
There’s still more than three weeks away from the pay-per-view and anything could change in terms of a decision. As always, we’ll keep you posted should more news come out about Rebellion.
