In news that's sure to disappoint Shield fans, it looks like Dean Ambrose may be on the shelf for a while.

PW Insider reckons The Lunatic Fringe is suffering from a legitimate elbow injury, which led to WWE's decision to involve him in that angle with Samoa Joe (see below) on last night's episode of Raw.

Apparently, Ambrose is scheduled to travel to Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday to have the injury diagnosed.

Hopefully it's not serious, because we only just got Roman Reigns back in action after his extended absence. We'll keep you guys updated on the situation.
